Isabelle Poirier

Creation and performance advisor
Isabelle Poirier received technical training at the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal and majored in Art History at the Université de Montréal. She has danced for various independent choreographers and companies, including the Marie Chouinard dance company, with which she danced for eight years, and then became coach and Assistant Artistic Director. She currently teaches at Concordia University Dance Department, at l’École de danse contemporaine de Montréal, at RQD and at Transformation workshops. She is a coach and contract performer for the Marie Chouinard company and dances for various independent choreographers, including Sylvain Poirier, Louise Bédard and Sarah Bild.
