Élise graduated from the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal in 2010 and was a recipient of the Sofia-Borella Scholarship. Since graduating, she has had the opportunity to work with Emmanuel Jouthe (Cinq Humeurs and Écoute pour voir), Katia-Marie Germain (Aube), Marie Béland (Rayon X), Alain Francoeur (En quête d'une ville), Lynda Gaudreau (Out of Grace) and Cassiopée Danse (Sa tête a rencontré un mur).
She was an apprentice dancer for the children’s company Bouge de là and member of the improvisation group Les Imprudanses.
Élise is co-founder of Atypique-Le Collectif, an in situ dance company, and was a dancer and choreographer for SQUAT 4200, Question d’Aplomb and Intento.
With her long-time colleague, Philippe Poirier, she created and presented the works Strictement {a}statique (Tangente, 2013) and Alliage Composite (Danses Buissonnières and Émergences Chorégraphiques, 2012) (OFFTA, 2013). Her choreographic work was performed several times at the event Zone Homa (2010-2013).
In the summer of 2010, she organized Parcours, marathon d'improvisation, an annual in situ improvisation event.
