Choreographer

Louise Bédard is an artist in her own right. For more than thirty years she has been mixing her career as a choreographer and performers. She collaborated with many choreographers and artists. Noticed for her intensity on stage as well as her ability to approach the choreographic universe of creators with commitment and passion, she received the 2018 Prix de la danse de Montréal as Performer of the Year award for her role in Tout ce qui va revient by choreographer Catherine Gaudet and for her entire career as a performer. She formed her own company in 1990: Louise Bédard Danse. Since then, she has created more than 40 dance pieces for her company as well as several commissions for other groups and artists. She is a founding member of Circuit-Est centre chorégraphique.
