Rafaelle Kennibol Cox
Born and raised in Brooklyn (NY, USA) Rafaelle Kennibol Cox began dancing at a young age and later studied dance at LaGuardia High School in Manhattan. She then continued on to attend l’École de danse contemporaine de Montréal. Through the school’s courses, she developed a strong passion for anatomy, reinforcing her personal kinesthetic awareness and finding ways of moving her body with an emphasis on functionality. Rafaelle is now interested in understanding how she indulges in movement with hopes of developing a personal style. This allows her to process emotions physically in a feat to find solace, as she has become aware of how her body carries and communicates her experiences while navigating the world.
