Alexandra Caron

Intensive summer workshop for 12-16 y/o | Choreographic Creation
Alexandra graduated in dance from Cegep Montmorency (Laval, QC) in 2015 and from École de danse contemporaine de Montréal in 2018. That same year, she met Margie Gillis at Springboard Dance Montreal. Since then, she has been part of the Legacy Project of Margie Gillis Dance Foundation where she continues to flourish. In 2018, she also creates Boréal with Tanya Dolbec which is presented at Musée des beaux-arts du Mont-Saint-Hilaire (QC). Concerned about passing on and sharing, she has been teaching dance since 2009 to children and teenagers: parent-child classes, pre-ballet, creative dance, non-competitive gymnastics and EDCM Intensive Summer for 12-17 years old. Advocating both the intelligent and sensitive body, the analytic and the impulsive, her practice testifies to her interest for the artistic and the rational in a constant need of physicality.
