This new exploration activity allows to discover some facets of the training of the performer in contemporary dance, and to take part in the daily life of the EDCM. This is an activity of discovery and exchanges with the School community, before the start of the school year.
- 9.15 am: Visit of the School
- 9.45 am: Observation of a technique class with EDCM students
- 11.15 am: Presentation of the professional training at EDCM
- 12.15 pm: Pause
- 1.00 pm: Improvisation class
- 2.00 pm: Video projections and discussions around contemporary dance works
Free event for young dancers as of 15 years old (no experience required)
Registration required (limited attendance)

About the Ecole de danse contemporaine de Montreal
Specializing in contemporary dance training, the École de dance contemporaine de Montréal (EDCM) has positioned itself as a centre of excellence in the Canadian performing arts community. Recognized for its leading-edge, rigorous training, the EDCM is fertile ground for research and artistic development as well as for the emergence of new trends.
