  • Lucie Boissinot


    Lucie Boissinot has been working in contemporary dance for about 30 years, first as a dancer and choreographer, and then as a teacher. She currently works as a manager and consultant. During her successful professional dance career from 1979-2003, she successively performed with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, the Toronto Dance Theatre, Danse Partout and the Fondation Jean-Pierre Perreault.

  • Sylvain Lafortune

    Sylvain Lafotune

    Born in Montréal, Sylvain Lafortune begins his professional career with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens (GBC) in 1979, having studied with its affiliated school. This first experience allowed him to dance classical and modern choreography, works by Kudelka, Taylor, Limón, MacDonald and Lubovitch among many others.

    Anne Le Beau - EDCM

    After receiving classical training, Anne Le Beau turned to contemporary dance and studied at the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal (formerly LADMMI). She graduated in 1987, and for over 20 years has danced for several nationally and internationally renowned companies and choreographers. 
  • Hélène Leclair


    Hélène Leclair is currently the Student and Graduate Services Director and Rehearsal and Production Coordinator at the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal. 
  • Valérie Lessard

    Valérie Lessard | EDCM

    Valérie Lessard is a contemporary dance performer, videographer, teacher and cultural worker. She began her professional dance training at the École de Danse de Québec and pursued studies at the Bachelor's level at UQAM. She also studied cultural organization management at HEC Montreal. 
    During her studies, she developed a keen interest in dance history. Since 2007, she has been teaching a theory course at the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal covering the historic and aesthetic evolution of Western dance in the 20th century.
